An Inductor-Based and Capacitor-Free Bipolar Pulse Converter with Overvoltage Protection

چکیده

The inductor-based and capacitor-free bipolar pulse converter can be applied to electric vehicle charging realize an efficient reliable charging-control strategy. Inductor-based converters avoid the failure caused by of energy storage capacitors improve reliability. An overvoltage protection scheme based on active clamping topology is used protect this when load impedance too large. This take effect in extremely short time (~50 ns) with little wasted. Furthermore, mathematical analyses proposed are presented simulations LTspice made, showing feasibility reliability circuit. Moreover, calculation power loss MOSFETs presented. A 201 W prototype efficiency 83% presented, experimental results show that work reliably. manuscript also proves application prospect using current-source-based for EV charging.
